About Us

Sand Slicer® is a patented shoreline grooming tool designed to restore and maintain clean, usable lakefront property. Developed and manufactured in Wisconsin, Sand Slicer was created to address a common challenge for waterfront owners: the buildup of aquatic vegetation, roots, and organic material that make shorelines difficult to use and maintain.

Unlike surface-level tools, Sand Slicer works below the sand to disrupt root systems and remove embedded debris, helping prevent regrowth while improving the overall condition of the shoreline. The result is a cleaner, more stable, and more enjoyable waterfront environment.

Originally developed by local inventor Jeremy Schmidt, Sand Slicer quickly moved from concept to production and is now used in real-world shoreline applications through Rolling Rome, a Wisconsin-based shoreline services company. This direct, hands-on use continues to refine the product and demonstrate its effectiveness across a variety of shoreline conditions.
